Starting with version 4.7 you can have "Human Friendly Urls" for your portal. We'll be installing a new portal, talking about some install tips and tricks and enabling this feature.

You can have urls that instead of looking like this:
www.domain.com/tabid/123/default.aspx looking like this www.domain.com/home.aspx. and with a little tweak we may just be able to setup www.domain.com/home/ now that's cool.
